It is a very modern campground in a nice state park. There are a large number of spacious back-in and pull-through sites. Most of the back-in sites have more space between them than any other park we have ever been. The roads are broad, paved, and very well lit at night. There is wi-fi at the office/store, but not at the campsites which is about all this park is missing. It is a beautiful area, highly recommended.

It is a very nice campground in a beautiful state park. We stayed in the West loop. There are many large sites, although some can be a bit challenging to get into. Surprisingly good cell and off-air TV reception. It's pretty far to the dump station, but if you have a tote there are grey water drains scattered throughout the loop. You can't reserve specific sites, so even if you have reservations you should come early for best selection.

Sites are typical KOA, fairly narrow and close together. Our site was not close enough to the office to use the Wi-Fi. Would be acceptable as an overnight except for the road noise, which was probably the loudest we have ever experienced. We were able to drown it out for the most part using the A/C in the bedroom, but there is no way I would stay here in a pop-up or tent, or try to sleep with the windows open.

We have stayed here for overnights about four times over the past several years, mostly because it is relatively convenient to I-20 but far enough off not to be noisy. Sites are narrow and close together, but that is par for the course at most KOAs. The big problem is that the condition of the property is steadily deteriorating. There are a few paved pull thrus, but the pads are in ridiculously poor condition. The interior roads and most sites are thinly graveled, and just a little rain turns the place into a mess. On this last visit, someone had recently gotten stuck on an interior road, and instead of repairing the ruts they cleared some small pine trees so larger rigs could go off the road to negotiate around it. No cable or Wi-Fi, which for a park in the $30+ range should be provided. We are going to look elsewhere on our next trip through.

First class state park on a beautiful lake. We camped in the A loop, sites were large and well-spaced. No TV or Wi-Fi, but there is plenty to do in the park and in the surrounding area. Wished we had booked more time here. We'll definitely be back.

We knew coming in that this place wasn't a "resort" by any stretch, but our fairly low expectations were not even met. We were just looking for a decent place to park for a few nights while visiting family in the area. Most of the park is occupied by transient workers living out of their trailers or rental units on the property, with only a couple of spaces for over nighters. Sites are gravel and close together with a narrow strip of grass between. No tables, fire pits, or shade. Our site had low water pressure (about 20 psi) and several active ant mounds on the gravel pad. The manager leveled the mound right outside our door and sprayed it with something, but they just resurfaced elsewhere. A pretty miserable place, fortunately we didn't spend much time there except to sleep. We won't be staying here again.

This is a well maintained campground very convenient to I-75, fuel, and shopping. It is a good base for visiting the area. There are many pull-through sites including some with nice patios, but most are face-to-face with the neighboring site (fine if you are traveling with someone else, not so great otherwise). We stayed here twice on our trip, once just an overnight and the second time for two nights. We would stay here again if we going to stop over night in the area.

WE DID NOT STAY HERE. We just visited during our trip to the park. In my opinion the campground is really only suitable for tents, pop ups, and smaller travel trailers. There are a couple of sites you might be able to get a larger unit into, but it would be dicey. There are steep drop offs behind many of the sites. If you have a larger RV, you are better off staying somewhere else and just day tripping into the park. We would definitely not attempt to stay there in our 35-foot unit.

We have stayed here 5 or 6 times. It is a family-owned and operated campground, with sites for any type of camping you wish (including large full hook-up sites with built-in satellite connections for both DirecTV and Dish) at an altitude of about 3000 feet. It is an excellent base for visiting the DuPont State Forest (with miles of hiking/biking/horse trails and beautiful waterfalls) and Caesars Head area, which is why we come. It is remote (about 12 miles south of Brevard right on the NC/SC border), wooded and hilly with gravel roads and sites that can get a bit dusty. It is a relatively narrow one lane road from US 276 to the campground entrance, so don't arrive in the morning when others may be checking out. There is a pool and playground near the owner's home (which is not convenient to camp sites). Restroom facilities are very clean, but there is only one bath house in the camping area (the other is near the pool). There is a wi-fi hot spot outside the owner's home, and they have a nice front porch with chairs, tables, and electric outlets (but signal does not reach the campsites). Note that cell service is essentially non-existent in this area.

It is well maintained and very convenient to I75. More space between sites would be better, but it's OK for overnight. There is good wi-fi reception (we were near the repeater). There re two fenced in dog areas and a nice playground with large grassy field. We would stay here again if speding a night in the area.

It is a beautifully maintained, very upscale condo park with lots of seasonal residents in big expensive motor homes. There are a large number of cable TV channels, which was good because you can't put out a stand-alone satellite dish (only roof mounts allowed). The Wifi did not work well in our area. There are many artificial small ponds with fountains, but full of chemicals so not suitable for letting your dog take a swim. But, a very, very nice park in a great area for beating the heat in summer.
